A graduate of the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, Koraishy started his career with a brief stint in sales at the agrochemical and pharmaceutical company, American Cyanamid. Khurram has been part of Unilever, PepsiCo, Damas, Tapal Tea & Al-Karam fashion. Having worked both globally and locally in Pakistan , Khurram has led various award winning campaigns. Since mid-2016 Khurram has been involved with ECOM PK Pvt. Ltd as a partner focusing on strategy and business development. In 2014-15, Koraishy has also served as the Chairman of the Pakistan Advertisers Society, which is an industry body that represents the industry’s interest in various forums including lobbying with the government. Koraishy also serves on the board of Move Pakistan Foundation which is an NGO/charity focused on education and healthcare for underprivileged children in Orangi town, Karachi. Khurram likes to escape to the golf course on the weekend and is an avid Crossfit and running enthusiast during the workweek.
In this very interesting podcast Khurram takes us through the boons and banes of the advertising industry and the impact of ad films on the consumer. Khurram sheds light on understanding the consumer behaviour and preferences keeping in mind their age, culture and regional presence. He gives us insight into how the millenial and Gen -Z consumer behaves and how relevant it is for companies to understand and undertake "sustainability" as the core of their operations.
