TV Writers; BBC Governance

In a week where the future of the BBC Trust has been called into question, we ask what alternative structures of governance might look like? And, a new report says earnings for top TV writers have risen by more than 30 per cent in the last 5 years. We ask what impact this has on commissioning budgets, and find out how a reliance on one or two star writers is making it harder to export programmes to the US.
