In episode 747: Hatman the Soul Hunter, Chad Phillippi shares his chilling journey from childhood occultism to a full-blown spiritual battle in the Alaskan wilderness. Groomed into astral projection and candle magick by a potentially nefarious librarian, Chad opened doors he couldn’t close—doors that followed him into adulthood. After fleeing toxic mold in Washington, his family moved to what they believed would be a healing refuge in Alaska. Instead, they found a house stalked by shadow figures, a red-eyed Hat Man, and a little ghost girl who called out in the night.
As the spiritual attacks escalated—golem-like creatures, spectral stagecoaches, and visions of the dead—the family was pushed to the brink. With the help of a spiritual warfare mentor, they buried Bibles, anointed the land, and drove out the presence. But when a buried camper with hair on its window was uncovered and reburied, the darkness returned with force. Forced to flee through a coming storm, they left everything behind. Because this wasn’t just a haunting, it was a trap. And someone, or something, didn’t want them to make it out.
