We all need to be set free enough to set others free and live in redemption. Troy and Leanna Brewer have a large ministry but they started small, they stay intentional about their passions and continue to stay personally involved in everything they do, even saving girls and boys out of sex trafficking. It’s easy to judge people by how we see them on the outside or by what we think is going on in their lives but we need to get to know people to really see inside. Emotional intelligence comes from the Holy Spirit. Self control is about emotional intelligence and the Holy Spirit is who guides us. Our world might be a mess but we always have something to offer. There is healing in helping other people. That is where Jesus is. We can’t outgive God.

With their experience with sex trafficking, Troy and Leanna have learned that pornography has teeth. It will grow. Other issues like self-harm, eating disorders and addictions can take hold of us and keep us captive. Jesus came to bring us freedom. The devil is a liar. Every time that we hear a lie we are being shackled.

We need to talk about mental health in the church because we all have a head, a brain and a soul. We need to understand the difference between soul and spirit. The body of Christ needs to be the champion of mental health so we can learn to walk in supernatural sanity.
