Isabella Watson is a 2019 grad of the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC and NC State and is now an R&D Engineer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, a global biotechnology company. Before this role, she worked as an R&D Engineer and Field Service Engineer at a smaller company in the biotechnology space, Cell Microsystems. Isabella compares/contrasts working in biotech R&D at small and large sized companies.
