Episode 3 - Mae Yip - Breaking Convention & Empowering The Next Generation
Another awesome and inspiring conversation, this time with ERIC Co-Founder, Mae Yip.
Mae, believe it or not, used to be a chartered accountant. Prior to starting ERIC, Mae worked at PwC (one of the largest accountancy firms in the world) but quickly knew she was on the wrong career path.
Growing up with Asian parents, she battled against following a career that would please her family as opposed to exploring her real passions and interests.
Mae wants to empower the next generation by giving them the tools and agency to make their own career decisions.
We had a really connected conversation and I thank Mae immensely for her honesty and vulnerability as we explored her childhood and early formative experiences that shaped the person Mae has gone on to become.
What a pleasure and a privilege to have this conversation. I am delighted to share it with you!
Enjoy!
