AWS Marketplace Improvements
The AWS Marketplace now offers a new self-service listing experience for SAS products, allowing sellers to publish and update listings more quickly and easily. Programmatic notifications for offer published events are now available through AWS EventBridge, enabling buyers and partners to build new applications rapidly. Sellers can also set their disbursement preferences to receive outstanding balances on a daily basis.
Updates in Analytics
Apache Flink with Amazon EMR on EKS is now in public preview, allowing customers to run Flink applications along with other types of applications on the same EKS cluster. Amazon Redshift now supports cross-region data sharing through AWS Lake Formation, allowing centralized management of permissions on shared data. Amazon Quicksight introduces pixel-based font size and text highlighting for text box visuals.
Compute Enhancements
New instances, C7i, R7a, and R7i Z, are now generally available. These instances offer improved performance and larger sizes, making them suitable for diverse compute-intensive workloads. Amazon EC2 adds the ability to block public sharing of Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) to enhance security.
