Hurt to Healing Dr Katia Fredriksen on the misconceptions of ADHD and how it effects children
On today’s Summer Special, Dr Katia Fredriksen is a licensed clinical psychologist who specialises in pediatric neuropsychology. She evaluates clients ranging from preschool to university students with autism spectrum disorders, learning differences, ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and emotional vulnerabilities and provides families with a road map of how to support their children. In this episode, we will be focusing on ADHD in children, how it differs in boys and girls, how schools need more understanding when it comes to children with ADHD and how ultimately it can be a huge strength.
