My guest today is Cato Institute Senior Fellow, Doug Bandow. Doug wrote a recent article called, "Now's the Time to Become a Truly 'America First' Military". This coronavirus mess has not only caused an economic shut down and disaster, but congress has voted to spend trillions of dollars to help "fix" things. We now know that drastic changes at the federal level will be necessary. There is simply not enough money for grandiose ideas at that level, so it's now time to end the wars and start pulling the troops home... from everywhere. We couldn't afford the global military adventures before. We certainly can't afford them now. So it is time to do what people like Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan have been saying for years: bring the troops home and defend the United States from home.
