73. God is Good, Big, Real, Non-Religious, and Non-Hypocritical – How our View of Church Impacts our Intimacy with God

Many of us say “I don’t need church, I just need God. My faith is private. I pray on my own. I read devotions on my own.” Each one of us is shaped by our environment, and that means church.  With the pandemic many people started watching church online and haven’t gone back in person. This has affected our mental health. There is a pattern of beliefs that keep us stuck from what God truly desires. The groups of people are: those who don’t believe God is good, those who don’t believe God isn’t big, those who believe in all gods, and those who are really, religious and hypocritical (and don’t know it). Whether these people attend church or not, each one of these groups is getting hit with depression, anxiety and relationship issues. Be encouraged as you will be led into prayer at the end of the podcast to be more connected to God and increase in confidence with who you truly are in Christ. God is non-religious, non-hypocritical, good, big and real!
