Yamu's Inspirational Journey

Yamu's story of resilience and triumph begins in The Gambia, West Africa, where she faced immense hardships as an orphan. After losing her parents at a young age, she was subjected to cultural expectations that placed little value on her education. Despite these obstacles, she excelled in her studies, thanks largely to the support of compassionate teachers and an aunt who fought to keep her in school. This foundation of education became a catalyst for her eventual move to America, where she started building a successful life and career.
