This week I have the privilege of welcoming Tanja Shaw, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, where we discuss the self-sabotaging pattern we fall into with our health & how to navigate different seasons of life.
When it comes to optimal health + wellness, one approach does NOT fit all. How often do you find yourself battling against the one thing that’s trying to keep you alive - your body? Your body is your home as long as you are on this earth. We sedate, we ignore, we medicate to get by, we punish these bodies. We get aggravated when our bodies need rest and recovery so they can take us through the next challenge.
To truly heal, have the level of energy we desire, and show up ready to play full out in this game of life, we have got to dig deeper and look under the hood of what’s really at play. Diagnotics can be a great way to show us what's actually happening inside the vessel God gave us to do life!
Perhaps it’s time to grant ourselves permission to ditch the rigid protocols that aren't cutting it anymore and instead embrace the balancing act of being flexible in our methods while uncompromising in our goals.
Today I invite you to break through the clutter and stop fighting your body. Let's start focusing on truly feeling GOOD and fully ALIVE, rather than getting caught up in the “shoulds” of societal expectations.
