Meagen Nay is an Australian Dual Olympic Swimming Team Member and also a Dual Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist. In 2010 Meagen picked up the 200m backstroke title as well as the 4x 200m Free Style Gold Medal at the Delhi Commonwealth Games.
Meagen’s story to swimming stardom is really unlike many others. During this episode Meagen will share around the very highs of her career, the very lows of her career including the tragic loss of her beloved father and then later her brother Amos both due to motor vehicle accidents and also the many learnings that Meaghan took through her professional swimming career. We will touch on key training principles and concepts, finding the courage to swim at the World Swimming Championships upon receiving the news of Meaghan’s brother passing, the challenges of transitioning out of professional sport and so much more.
