Under the Banner of Heaven: Real Story with Mike Pientka

Today on Hulu, a miniseries called Under the Banner of Heaven was released. This series focuses on the Lafferty murders that occurred in 1984. The Lafferty brothers who committed the murders were raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For today's episode, we had the incredible opportunity to talk with the sergeant during the Lafferty case, Mike Pientka. Mike was in direct contact with Dan Lafferty almost every single day for a year. He talks about Dan's character, his change in demeanor, and the overall experience being close with a murderer.
