Off to kiss the ring! House Speaker Mike Johnson went to Mar-a-Lago last night to meet with Donald Trump. Speaker Johnson is the highest ranking Republican to endorse Trump’s candidacy.
An 8th Circuit Court of Appeals panel comprised of conservative judges slapped the teeth out of the Voting Rights Act. The panel ruled that private individuals or groups cannot bring suit under the Voting Rights Act. That removes the most common way the law is enforced.
