The story of Azmat Abbas Alibhai, who had a stroke whilst sitting with her family on the lunch table - she narrates her story of helplessness, despair, hope and reverse engineering her entire biological system - setting a target of 100 days and achieving what most medical practioners could not. Azmat shares with us the concept of bio-hacking, the essential needs of the body, the struggle of taking charge and the resolve to stick through the mission of recovery.
Azmat Abbas Alibhai is a yoga teacher, clinical nutritionist, naturopath, researcher and writer for the Holistic Health Association of the Princeton Area (HHAPA). She has been instrumental in setting up Pakistan's foremost Stroke Support Group and also provides therapy and meditation practises to neurological patients in some of the leading hospitals in Karachi.
