USAID has officially closed its doors, but the devastating impact of its loss is echoing around the world. Among those worst hit is Afghanistan, which received over 40 percent of its humanitarian support from the US. One study predicts that, if the cuts continue through 2030, 14 million people could die as a result. It's not hard to find evidence of how this is already materializing, as correspondent Isobel Yeung saw for herself.
