Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) finally get a chance to talk about why Ice Princess Should’ve Been Gay. We’ve been asked to do this movie so many times and it does not disappoint. There is literally no heterosexual explanation for how many gay tropes are in this movie. We talk about our favorite ships, how stereotypically lesbian Casey’s mom Joan is (blazers AND tofu, really Joan?), what we’d like to see from a sequel, and why the zamboni guy always has to get in the way of Casey and Gen’s relationship. This movie really tried to say oh I’m not gay, I’m just following this hot girl around with a camera…For Science, and we’re totally here for it.
