Spong was a liberal bishop in the episcopal church who was well known for abandoning the foundational doctrines of Christian theism. Keith and Matthew read and respond to Spong's 12 "Points of Reform" for Christianity which he published in The Voice, the newsletter of the Diocese of Newark, in 1998.
