

Ukraine peace talks break down over US ultimatum
On Wednesday morning Ukrainian peace talks involving American, European and Ukrainian ministers in London were downgraded after Secretary of State Marco Rubio cancelled his attendance. Hours later, US Vice President JD Vance revealed a peace plan was on the table, insisting it is a "fair deal for both sides" and that both Ukraine and Russia would have to cede territory under its terms. But how much did that deal influence Rubio's decision and where does it leave Ukraine?
