Upholding Oaths and Laws, Not Preferences with Sheriff Matt Clifford

Matt Clifford is the Ada County Sheriff and is currently running for re-election. We spoke extensively about upholding oaths and the laws of our state and country and not veering into engaging in personal preferences. The Treasure Valley has become a hot bed for cultural shifts, and Sheriff Clifford has had to navigate preferences and legal rights to a degree that is unique, to say the least. Enjoy!

It’s also home to many law enforcement agencies, like Ada County and Canyon county Sheriff offices, Idaho State Police, Eagle Police Department, Meridian Police Department, and many more. The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different. Ada County is also home to our state capital and many of our elected officials.
