The Resilient Journey

Episode 141 - Business Resilience Among Political Uncertainty (Part 2) ~ with John Ashford

Jul 8, 2024
17:39

In last week’s episode, we began a conversation with John Ashford about the uncertainty that elections all over the world are going to have on business. John told us that what he’s seeing in 2024 reminds him more of what life looked like in the 1930s.

Hello everyone and welcome to episode 141 of the Resilient Journey podcast, presented by the Resilience Think Tank.

This is part two of a special conversation about business resilience during political uncertainty. We are joined once again by John Ashford, Chairman and CEO of The Hawthorn Group who tells Mark what he thinks the implications are of the November US election – including impacts on green energy, infrastructure, and supply chains.

John gives advice to businesses and reminds us that in chaos there is opportunity.

John explains that risk assessment and risk management will be more important in the next six to twelve months than ever.
