Getting Grounded in Yourself & Honoring Your Needs
Jen and I talk about how wounding can create over-functioning, over-responsibility, and rigidity at the expense of the human. We talk about stress responses and how to be more mindful and present for yourself while also bringing self-compassion. We literally take a break and do a short grounding exercise to get present. When you feel like you’re not doing enough, we talk about tools to lower the bar so that you can rest in what you can do in order to be more present and grounded.

Jen Perry, MSEd, MA, LPC has been a psychotherapist for 20 years. She specializes in helping Highly Sensitive People thrive in love, work, and parenting Highly Sensitive Children. Jen is passionate about using mindfulness and compassion-based approaches to ameliorate human suffering.
