Governor Ron DeSantis drops out of GOP presidential race

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has officially dropped out of the GOP presidential race, endorsing former President Donald Trump for the nomination. DeSantis stated that he suspended his campaign due to the lack of a clear path to victory and the majority of Republican primary voters wanting to give Trump another chance. Despite having disagreements with Trump on certain issues, DeSantis believes that Trump is superior to the current incumbent Joe Biden. While his campaign has ended, DeSantis vows to continue leading in Florida.
