Sometimes deliverance and spiritual concepts can be hard for us to understand. How do we know if something is a demon or just a negative thought?

We can have constant noise, feedback, opinions, analyzing, fear in our head that can keep us captive. Often we don’t even realize it is happening and it seems that it is normal. We can get to these places where the lies are accepted and we don’t even know they are lies. Katlyn shares how her thoughts were contradicting themselves. She was constantly analyzing and focusing on the chaos and confusion in her head.

God is bigger than the chaos and confusion.

Confusion, being overwhelmed – how do we know if it’s from us, from God, or somewhere else

To be able to know if we have a lie, we need to spend extended time with God. This allows us to know the truth.

God cares about the little things and the big things.

We often focus on what is NOT God. What if we are missing where God IS?

Lies from the spirit of criticism:

• Why did you do it that way?
• Someone is going to hate you if you do it that way?
• Don’t you know you’re too loud?!
• Why are you so afraid?
• I bet they’re thinking this about you

Truth from the spirit of joy/love:

• God loves us unconditionally
• His loves goes from everlasting to everlasting
• God’s love isn’t dependent on what we’ve done but on who He’s created us to be
• God created us to BE love.
• God created us to love us
• Joy and freedom
• We don’t have to carry the weight of the world
• We can be free

We can recognize when there is a voice that is NOT God and we take say “I don’t need you anymore”.

We don’t have to be critical of ourself. We don’t need to live constantly on edge with the lies. Give the lies to Jesus and ask Him to burn them up. He will give you His goodness in replace.

The enemy takes things that we know and He twists them to make it look like “us” or even God.
