There's a good chance you've seen the price of chicken eggs go up recently. If you already have chickens producing eggs, you've instantly become famous among your friends, family and neighbors. If you don't have chickens, you may be seriously considering getting a few this spring. In this episode, I'm going to give it to you straight. Chickens are also known as, the gateway animal into homesteading. Chickens are fun, entertaining dinosaur-like birds that produce this beautifully packaged high-protein food. It's no wonder people love the idea of owning chickens.
