

Fitness Funks! Motivation & Mindset Tips for Moving Your Body More Often
I'll be honest, I've been in a bit of a fitness funk for the past few weeks. I haven't been moving my body as often as I'd like or hardly at all really. So in this week's episode I'm sharing my experience with getting into a rut when it comes to movement and how to snap out of it!
I talk about the power of language and how the words we use to define our habits can be restrictive creating mental blocks or resistance to the very things we want to be doing more often. We'll discuss the various different motivation styles and how they can massively impact our ability to show up or continue making excuses. And with me you know there's always mindset involved so I'll share with you some of my favorite mindset hacks for motivation that will help you get your butt off the couch and get back on track.
Guilt and self-judgement tend to play a role when we find ourselves in a place of not committing to the habits we know will make us better, but how big is its impact? Having experienced many "fitness funks" I know how hard it can be to pull yourself out of one so I'll also give you my top five tips for getting back into your workouts and making them more productive and more enjoyable.
