The Story of Turtle and Monkey

In the story, Turtle discovers a banana plant floating in the river and decides to pull it to shore. She enlists the help of Monkey, who reluctantly agrees, demanding a share of the plant in return. After they successfully bring the plant to Turtle's garden, they quarrel over how to split it, with Monkey wanting the top half for the bananas and Turtle knowing the bottom half holds the roots necessary for growth. Ultimately, they split the plant, but Monkey's choice leads to him receiving the barren top, while Turtle cultivates the bottom, which yields plenty of bananas.
