She leads workshops, retreats, and courses while serving as Pastor of Awakenings, Inc., a contemplative community based in Houston, Texas. Recognized by USA Today as a landing place for those leaving organized religion and seeking spiritual refuge, Awakenings provides a space for exploration, healing, and connection.

Tia has been recognized by Wesleyan Impact Partners as a Woman with an Entrepreneurial Spirit and as part of the next generation of leaders changing the face of the Christian church.
