Does God have no pleasure in the death of the wicked? How shall we understand Ezekiel 33:11? The following are four sermons from the 1855 publication Sermons of the Reverend Ichabod Spencer - Late Pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn, Long Island. These sermons, spanning pages 285 to 359, have been revised and compiled into a book. They capture truths that are essentially similar to those found in A Pastor’s Sketches by Spencer, though presented here in sermonic form. It is our prayer that some will be led to abandon trust in themselves and turn to the Savior, who takes no pleasure in the death of sinners.
