Jesus calls us to take sin seriously—both in our own lives and in the lives of others. In Matthew 18:7-14, He warns against causing others to stumble, urges us to cut sin out at all costs, and reminds us of the Father’s relentless grace in pursuing His wandering children. True discipleship means confronting sin with urgency while resting in the joy of God’s mercy.
