On today’s Thursday Thoughts, Polly & I are talking about people pleasing.
We all do it - particularly women - but is it actually serving us? The need to belong and be liked often sees us doing or saying things that aren’t in alignment with who we truly are.
When we put the needs of others above our own, we often end up feeling resentful and depleted, which is no good for anyone!
In this conversation, Polly and I give examples of how we’ve both been people pleasers in the past, but how we’re now much more discerning about what we say yes to and - importantly - what we say no to.
We hope you’ll find something useful in here.
Love,
Polly & Lucy x
