About our guest:
Joey played 3 Years at The University of Georgia. From 2007-2009. He was a part of the 2008 SEC Championship Team and 2008 College World Series team that finished second. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals where he played from 2009-2012.
After his playing career Joey went back to UGA to graduate and also be a student assistant for the baseball program. After Graduation Joey was an assistant coach at Maryville College. Since opening The Hit Lab in 2019, Joey has helped over 60 players reach the collegiate level, including 5 playing professionally.
Currently Joey has 16 baseball and softball hitters on active collegiate rosters across all levels.
