This episode Kate & Steph talk about navigating emotions both as drinkers and as women who no longer drink. They chat to Duncan about his experiences and consider if avoiding emotions is one of the main reasons people drink in the first place. And why that's probably the worst thing you could do.

Our guest for this episode is Duncan Bhaskaran Brown - Speaker, Author, Morris Dancer
Duncan has done his fair share of overindulgence, strictly speaking he’s drunk more than his fair share of wine and eaten more kebabs than he cares to remember.
After 20 years of overdoing it, he cleaned up his act and trained with the world’s most successful stop smoking service. But that wasn’t enough. He studied at Cornell University, the Chartered Management Institute and in a windowless room in Peterborough.
All this led him to write a couple of books, most recently ‘Real Men Quit’, the armchair macho guide to beating booze and finding the life you want. He’s interviewed scores of sober superstars and conducted research projects which involved watching TV.
He gets out of bed every morning because he wants to end the harm done by alcohol.
He lives near Oxford with one wife, one daughter and two bonsai trees. As well as morris dancing he also enjoys falling off his inline skates.
