This is the time of year for feeling thankful for everything, but what can you do when you're feeling stuck or ungrateful? Forcing gratitude never works, but your spirit might be telling you that it's time to stop and take care of YOU! Sonia T. knows that when she starts feeling resentful about filling up the water jug, it's time to stop giving everything she possibly can to her partner and start asking for some help.
You may not be able to control everything that is happening around you (especially during the holidays!) but you can control how you are treating yourself. Take time for walks outside, give yourself permission to laugh, and dodge the drama that might be heading your way. Instead of being unhappy that you don't feel thankful, be okay that there are certain things in your life that are challenging. This holiday season, give your spirit the gift of acceptance and understanding.
