John Cerasani is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and host of the "2000% Raise" podcast. In addition to the "2000% Raise podcast," he is also has a book in the works under the same title, and is shooting for spring 2023 to release it. John is also active on social media platforms, mainly Instagram, Linkedin, and Tik Tok where he posts business advice as well as key clips from his podcast. 

In his past life, John was selling insurance at Arthur J Gallagher before deciding to branch off and start his own business, Northwestern Comprehensive, where he sought to go after the same clients by himself his former firm full of thousands of employees would obtain and succeeded. After selling to a private equity shop, he went on to find Glencrest Global, a Venture Capital firm looking to invest in "industry disruptors and game changers."

In this episode, John and I talk about how you can get a 2000% raise by betting on yourself through entrepreneurship, how former athletes can channel their energy from their sport into their next endeavor after sports, and developing the courage to go your own path. We also got into John's story of leaving his job, starting his own company, and eventually selling to private equity at 42 years old.
