This week we air an interview that Ken conducted several months back, during his time in Malawi. He chats with Frackson Kachiwawa, who is the manager of the Dzalanyama Forest Lodge, in the Forest Reserve of the same name. This is a well-known birding spot, one of the richest sites in the vast miombo broadleaf woodland biome of central Africa. They talk about forest conservation, how you get a comatose lodge guest into bed, and Frackson's unusual life trajectory.
