Ryan Chaw, a real estate investor and coach, has always faced challenges in being visible due to his Asian background. Despite his fear of visibility and anxiety of being on camera, he runs a successful coaching program for newbie real estate investors. Ryan acknowledges the power of social media and online platforms like YouTube and podcasts, but worries about appearing as a "get rich quick" guru. Determined to avoid this perception, he strives to maintain humility while establishing himself as a thought leader in the real estate industry. Although he has made progress in becoming comfortable on camera, Ryan continuously has his fear of visibility at the back of his mind.
There is power in our mindsets and perceptions. And to hit our goals, we must align ourselves with that vision. Today’s conversation explores the idea of stepping outside one's comfort zone and the need for alignment with one's goals. Many of us struggle with imposter syndrome and feelings of inadequacy. In this episode, we talk about finding satisfaction in daily accomplishments and managing stress and anxiety while also feeling empowered to use your voice in a way that influences people for the better, and builds your empire in the process.
