Future War delves into the strategic and tactical uses of non-lethal weapons, including electromagnetic, pulsed-power, and chemical systems. It highlights their importance in addressing new and emerging types of conflict, such as terrorism and environmental issues. The book provides insights into how these weapons can be used to limit force application while achieving military objectives.
Reality Denied confronts conventional wisdom with events that, although quite real, seem to challenge the revered 'laws of science,' proving them to be wrong or incomplete. The book addresses issues like life after death, mind over matter, UFOs, remote viewing, and telepathic communications with animals from Col. John Alexander's firsthand perspective.
In this book, Dr. Eben Alexander describes his near-death experience (NDE) while suffering from a rare case of bacterial meningitis. During his seven-day coma, Alexander claims to have journeyed beyond this world, encountering an angelic being and the Divine source of the universe. His experience transformed his views on life, philosophy, medicine, and the existence of God and the soul. The book details his medical recovery as a miracle and explores the implications of his NDE on his understanding of consciousness and the afterlife. Despite scientific criticism, Alexander's story has been widely read and discussed, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of science and spirituality.
The Lost World, written by Michael Crichton, is a sequel to his 1990 novel 'Jurassic Park'. The story takes place six years after the events of the first book and follows mathematician Ian Malcolm, who survived the disaster at Jurassic Park, as he joins a scientific research team to explore a second island, Isla Sorna, where John Hammond's company InGen had bred dinosaurs. The team, including paleontologist Richard Levine, ethologist Sarah Harding, and two stowaway children, must navigate the dangers of the island, including the dinosaurs and rival scientists who are trying to steal the dinosaur eggs. The novel explores themes of science, technology, and the unpredictable nature of life[2][5].
In 'Abduction,' Robin Cook weaves a tale that combines human drama and high-tech thrills. The story begins with a mysterious transmission from the depths of the Atlantic Ocean, prompting a team of divers and oceanographers to embark on an investigation. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they uncover a phenomenon that challenges current scientific understanding, leading to a thrilling and suspenseful adventure.
Chris Bledsoe's "UFO of God" recounts a series of extraordinary events that profoundly impacted his family's life. The book details their encounters with luminous orbs, otherworldly lights, and a figure Chris refers to as 'The Lady.' These experiences led to profound spiritual insights and challenged their understanding of reality. Bledsoe's narrative explores themes of faith, skepticism, and the search for meaning in the face of the unexplained. The book's personal account and spiritual reflections resonate with readers seeking a deeper understanding of consciousness and the interconnectedness of all things. It's a compelling testament to the transformative power of mystical experiences.
The book delves into the U.S. Army's exploration of New Age concepts and the potential military applications of psychic powers. It follows the story of the First Earth Battalion and the 'psychic spy unit' established by Army Intelligence. Ronson investigates the claims of Special Forces soldiers who allegedly experimented with psychic powers against de-bleated goats at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The book also examines the broader implications of these experiments and their continued influence within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and postwar Iraq.
Originally published in 1975, 'Life After Life' is a qualitative study where Dr. Raymond Moody interviewed 150 people who had undergone near-death experiences (NDEs). The book details common elements in NDEs, such as an overwhelming feeling of peace, being located outside one's physical body, floating through darkness or a tunnel, encountering a 'being of light,' and experiencing a rapid succession of visual images of one's past. Moody's work neither rejects these experiences on scientific grounds nor sensationalizes them, offering a balanced and insightful look into the phenomenon of NDEs. The book has sold over 13 million copies and has been translated into a dozen foreign languages, making it an international bestseller and a seminal work in the field of NDE studies.
Col. John Alexander is a former Army Special Forces Commander with an impeccable career in leadership across multiple agencies and programs within the U.S. intelligence community. Alexander lead Special Forces teams as an Officer during the Vietnam War. He would later serve as the Chief of Human Technology at INSCOM and Army Inspector General. Alexander's work inspired and was heavily featured in the book and adapted film "Men Who Stare at Goats." He is widely credited with leading the way in researching non-lethal weapons and military applications of the paranormal.
In this episode, Alexander recounts his experience in Vietnam and the brutality of jungle warfare. Through his experience, he began to see the power of coincidence and intuition. This led him to pursue greater knowledge via the Army Intelligence and Security Command. It was there he helped transform the United State's approach to the paranormal. Post retirement, Alexander became the Program Manager for Non-Lethal Defense at Los Alamos National Laboratory–the same lab responsible for the creation of the Atomic Bomb. Today, he is a successful Author and continues his work as a researcher.
