In 2020, he was named the CEO of the Year by the Chief Executive Magazine. After he graduated from Brown University and the University of Notre Dame Law School, Brian worked at Edwards & Angell LLP. He joined Fleet Boston bank and after its merger with BoA, he became the President of Global Wealth and Investment Management. Brain was named the CEO of Merrill Lynch after its sale to BoA, and became the CEO in 2010.
