Looking into your family's past: One mum's 15-year journey writing an historical novel
Have you ever been curious about your family's history? Curious enough to write a book? Kathleen Aldworth Foster started writing her debut novel in historical fiction after learning that an Irish woman known as the world's first female Freemason shared her name. Despite Kathleen's 25 years experience in broadcast journalism, a career which saw her covering war zones and earthquakes across the globe, Kathleen says the journey she undertook to write the story of the Irish woman was one of the hardest things she has ever done. And she wouldn't change a thing.
