Living in light if eternity - Generous part 4 - Cephas Tapedzisa

In this podcast episode, we will discuss the final part of a four-part series called Generous. This series focuses on understanding what it means for us to have a generous God and become a generous people. In the previous episodes, we were reminded that everything belongs to God and were shown how God provides for us. Last week, we were called to excel in the grace of giving for various compelling reasons. In this episode, we are reminded that the main focus of the Church is not fundraising or even doing great and wonderful things in the world; it is Jesus, who He is, what He has done, and what He has called us to. The call to discipleship is uncomfortable, easy, or even possible without denying oneself, taking up the cross, and following Jesus. In the passage from Luke 16:1-14, Jesus exhorts us to use our wealth to love people, pursue true riches, and choose who and what we serve.

This episode challenges us to ask ourselves where we are with our commitment to follow Jesus and encourages us to listen to His heart for us concerning money and possessions.
