Out of this disillusionment, something new is taking root — grassroots organisations that are neither left nor right, but simply people coming together, determined to create honest, practical change in their communities. These groups are building momentum precisely because they are free from party whips and media spin. They are giving voice to a public that wants to be heard on its own terms. Kevin Daly tells Richie why he has joined one of these organisations and why he believes it just might represent the way forward for real change.
