Your Dreams Count
Mary's origin story will blow you away. I don't want to give it all away, but it's clear that she walks her walk and has lived the results of what she teaches. Before getting into the personal development field, Mary started as a non-denominational minister. I loved hearing how Mary has used the principles of what she's been teaching for 50 years to improve her own life, and that of thousands across the globe. Everything we discussed was about how to upgrade and change your beliefs to match building your dreams-all the ones that live inside of you. Mary has led hundreds of events and programs to help others actualize their dream. Her words of encouragement are worth tuning into if you hold the desire of building your dream. She said, "The real gift of having a dream is not just realizing it, but that who you become in the process."
Change the Channel
Mary Morrissey shared that if you don't love the results in your life, just like changing a channel on your TV, you need to change the frequency of your thoughts and vibration. We are all made up of a sea of energy. Here are a few ways to do this:
- Look at your current life and ask yourself, 'What am I in love with now?' Notice this and reverse engineer what you love to make room to add more of this elsewhere.
- Speak in the name of love. Life is an ever-seeking energy expressed through us. Connect to the energy of love through your words and speaking.
- You can be, do or have anything. You just have to get in harmony with it. If you are in a state of self-loathing, look at it as a wiring problem and notice what you're noticing. You are not your thoughts
- Care more about helping people and be willing to do things afraid.
Three Powerful Words to Change Your Subconscious
We also discussed the three most powerful words you can say to yourself regarding changing the frequency of your thoughts and overcoming limiting beliefs and stories as they relate to your past and keeping you stuck. When you find yourself saying something like, "I've never been able to change that habit", for example, try adding these three words afterward: up until now. This will help give your subconscious a new command when up against those lingering negative beliefs.
