Vanita Uppal is the Director of The British School New Delhi. She was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in recognition of her services to British education overseas. Vanita is based in New Delhi, India. 

In this episode, Vanita shares her learnings around self-doubt, how we must trust others and believe they have the best intentions and how she herself was initially a reluctant Principal.

Vanita displays warmth and humour in abundance as she reminds how it’s the people that make the workplace what it is. As the educators of today we must strive to be selfless, be caretakers for the next generation and be grateful for those around us - there is no place for ego in our work.
