The Resurrection of Jesus changes everything, including the relationships of the family. When we read Paul’s teachings on family in context we see the cosmic significance the daily life of a husband and wife.

“14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” (Ephesians 5:14).

“22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:22).

“25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;” (Ephesians 5:25).
