Episode notes
All Desires Stem From One Soul Longing
- Every desire we chase (money, love, success) originates as a soul craving for the Creator's light.
- Elisheva Balas explains external desires are differentiated forms of one deeper longing for closeness and fulfillment.
Two Roots Of Desire Determine Outcome
- Desire is the engine of all action and comes in two roots: destructive reactive desires and positive connecting desires.
- Eitan Yardeni names these as tzara (chaos) and retzel (connection) both deriving from 'ratzomo' meaning desire.
Pause And Reframe Reactive Want Into Spiritual Request
- When you feel lack or hurt, pause before reacting and reframe the impulse as an invitation to crave the Creator's light.
- Eitan instructs to transform initial reactive wants into deeper requests for inner strength and healing.
