In October of 2014, the ERLC hosted its inaugural National Conference at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. The conference was titled “The Gospel, Homosexuality, and the Future of Marriage”. David Platt addressed those in attendance about how the Great Commission is to be carried out in singleness and in marriage. Platt serves as the president of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
