Our natural tendency is to hoard, self-protect, and to think only of ourselves; but Christ is clear, we are to be outward focused, hospitable, and thinking of others more highly than ourselves. And as Eric and Nathan remind us, our only hope of living counter-culturally is to put Christ first in our lives.
