Scott's Antarctic Expedition: A Struggle for Survival

Robert Falcon Scott led an expedition to the South Pole, aiming to be the first to reach it. However, they faced numerous challenges, including unreliable motor sledges, unsuited ponies, and severe weather conditions. Scott's team made it to the South Pole, only to discover that the Norwegian explorer Amundsen had beaten them to it. On their return journey, the group faced frostbite, dehydration, and exhaustion. Tragically, Scott and his remaining companions perished on the icy journey back, while Amundsen and his team successfully completed their expedition.
